This is the first level of LifePrints a four-level program that is designed to help adult ESL learners gain the English language skills for their survival in the U.S. and participate effectively at work and in their everyday life situations. LifePrints is an integrated skills program; listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and full of illustrations to help students learn appropriate language and gain cultural understanding while developing a wide range of skills for life and work. The lessons are presented in the context of everyday life experiences faced by immigrants, their neighbors, and their co-workers. It provides extensive support for teachers to help students reach their goals and leave each lesson with something they can use outside the class. The program is correlated to SPLs, CASAS, and SCANS.
